The Raspberry Pi PoE+ HAT R2 is an add-on board designed for use with the Raspberry Pi 3B+ and Raspberry Pi 4 only. It is used to power Raspberry Pi via an Ethernet cable, provided that power-sourcing equipment is installed on the Ethernet network. The HAT also includes a fan that will cool the Raspberry Pi processor.
Please assemble the standoffs to the HAT first before placing it on your Raspberry Pi.
IMPORTANT: Don't attach an external power supply to your Pi once the PoE-HAT is placed on it, this will result in over-voltage and will damage your PoE-HAT!
Important note, when you use a 2x20 stacking header you also need a 2x2 stacking header to power your Poe+ HAT. It's also recommended to add the correct spacers with this set of 16mm brass standoffs because the original ones doesn't fit anymore after placing the stacking headers.
